Our Mission Statement and History
We, the members of Calvary Episcopal Church, recognize that we are the body of Christ established upon the word of God, and that we are "To go make disciples, baptize, and teach," offer our resources and talents to:
Provide worship and Christian education to all of those who know and those who seek Christ;
Maintain a caring and loving atmosphere which will allow for growth of the Holy Spirit within us, in our children, and in those we contact through our church; and
Share God's love, service, teaching, healing, and worshiping with each other, the church, the neighborhood, the community, and the greater Metropolitan Washington, DC area.
